Before you meet BoBo, there is something you should know about her.
BoBo was born on a farm where life wasn't always kind to dogs.
Her mother, a beautiful shepherd dog, somehow chose us long before we chose her. She trusted us enough to spend much of her pregnancy with us, and after the puppies were born, we helped care for her little family.
She had twelve puppies.
Only three survived.
Those three became our family.
BoBo was one of them.
When she was only three weeks old, her curiosity led her a little too close to another dog.
She was attacked.
Her tiny face was torn apart.
The vets did everything they could, but they weren't hopeful. They warned us that the injuries were severe, that her head might never develop properly, and that she might not survive.
BoBo never heard those conversations.
She simply kept trying.
One day became another.
The wounds slowly healed.
The frightened little puppy grew into the happiest dog I have ever known.
Today, almost six years later, BoBo still carries a slightly crooked nose—a small reminder of where her story began. She is a little more sensitive than most dogs and seems to catch every bug that comes along.
But if you met her today, you would never guess how difficult her beginning was.

She greets every person as though they might become a friend.
Every animal deserves a chance.
Every walk is an adventure.
Every new day is something to celebrate.
People often ask us how BoBo became so gentle after everything she went through.
The truth is...
We don't know.
Maybe some hearts simply choose love.
The stories you'll find here are inspired by the way BoBo sees the world.
She reminds us that kindness isn't weakness.
Curiosity is stronger than fear.
And sometimes the greatest courage is choosing to trust again.
Welcome to the world through BoBo's eyes.
