The cities are closing in, but here, time still moves to the chime of a bell. There is a profound beauty in the Algarve’s "in-between"—where the modern world meets the ancient path.
Watching the shepherd work, "Staff" printed on his back while he guides his flock through the brush, I’m struck by the peace of it. It’s a life far removed from the hustle; a world of smart, stubborn goats and the steady loyalty of sheep. They say goats eat everything in their path, but if you listen closely, they listen back.
This mix of countryside and city is a fragile gift. We don’t know how long these two worlds will walk side-by-side, so for now, let’s just breathe it in.
